WORKSHOP 04

03 August 2025 - 1:00 - 3:30

REWRITING YOUR NARRATIVE

Facilitator: Jessica Shelley

Duration: 2 hours (1:00 - 3:00 PM)

This gentle and restorative workshop is designed to support those navigating illness, change, or the experience of caring for others. Rooted in trauma-informed narrative therapy and creative writing practices, it offers a safe space to reflect, reconnect with your voice, and explore your personal story through the lens of myth and metaphor.

Through guided prompts, fairy tale imagery, and compassionate storytelling exercises, you’ll be invited to externalise challenges, uncover inner wisdom, and begin re-authoring your narrative with care and imagination. You don’t need to be a writer to take part—just bring your stories, your heart, and a willingness to explore.

This intimate session includes beautiful printed worksheets to take home, complimentary tea and coffee, and a nurturing space for creative reflection.

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You’ll receive confirmation by email if you’ve secured a place. If the session is full, we’ll let you know and add you to the waiting list in case a spot becomes available.

We’re also putting together a newsletter for this programme. If you’d like to be among the first to hear about the next workshops before they’re publicly announced, make sure you sign up.

We understand things can change, if you can’t make it to a workshop, just give us a quick heads-up so we can offer your place to another participant.

Please note: The workshop space is located upstairs and is only accessible via a flight of stairs. Unfortunately, there is no step-free or disabled access available.
