The Drawing Room
A community office space perfect for quiet work or collaborative planning. Circle members can book a desk, and yes, dogs are welcome! A small discretionary donation secures your spot.
The Painting Room
A bright, versatile space ideal for painting, photoshoots, workshops, Screenings and private dining. It’s also available for meetings around the kitchen table and longer-term projects. Hire fees vary.
The Writing Room
This beautiful room with high ceilings space is great for small workshops or spill over from the painting room, event prep, or simply a quiet room to work on your novel. A serene setting to finish that long-overdue project.
The Bar
A welcoming entrance area that doubles as a bar during events. It also features a rentable desk, a shop showcasing Circle members’ creations, and complimentary coffee and tea (just clean up after using the juicer!).
Pricing and Funding Transparency
Swan Hill Studios operates as a non-profit with the goal of becoming self-sufficient within six months. All income is reinvested into maintaining and improving the building, and any surplus will be used to support members. We are working towards turning Swan Hill into a CIC (Community Interest Company).
Our pricing is designed to be affordable, especially for Circle Members, who benefit from discounted rates. We also offer Pay As You Can options to ensure that creativity remains accessible to everyone, with opportunities to sponsor a space for fellow creatives.
Hire Charges

Room hire £30 per room per half day £50 per day

Whole building (not including the drawing room/office) £150 per day.

Workshops and Exhibitions
If you are holding a workshop in the hired space, we also can help (for a small percentage) with ticket sales via our website. We will of course also promote your event if hosting via your own platform.

Circle Members: 30%
Non-Circle Members: 40%
