About the event
Two artists, TERESA MCCANN CLARK and KAREN SUSKIN bring distinct yet complementary approaches to making, each grounded in a sustained engagement with materials and the slow processes of attention.
Working across painting, textile, found matter and installation, the exhibition explores how landscape, weather, memory and embodied experience become inscribed in surfaces and forms. Marks accumulate, materials weather, garments carry traces, and natural substances act as repositories of time and place.
Though differing in medium and method, both artists share a commitment to process-led practice, allowing meaning to emerge through acts of observation, making and reflection. Together, the works invite viewers to consider the ways in which the outer world and inner experience become entangled through material practice.
