About the event
Dan Berry is a graphic artist, creative producer and educator based in Shrewsbury, UK. His work spans comics, graphic novels, design and storytelling across print, digital and interactive media. Alongside publishing his own comics, he collaborates with author David Gaffney on graphic novels including The Three Rooms in Valerie’s Head and Rivers. Berry previously led the illustration, comics and children’s books degree courses at Wrexham Glyndŵr University and continues to teach internationally. He is also the designer of the Blade Pen and the former host of the long running podcast Make It Then Tell Everybody, which explored the creative processes of more than 250 artists.
A zine jam will take place during the private view on Friday 17th April and again during the Saturday open studio, inviting visitors to draw and make a zine.
