About the event
Abstract Artist, Jilly Hartshorn, normally working from her studio in Oswestry, will be taking the opportunity to work on something larger than usual, drawing on work from her sketchbooks.
For Jilly, painting and drawing are in constant dialogue on the work surface, each informing the next process of mark making. Loosely based on landscape, the literal and visual path have become the same.
Jilly will be in residence 16th to 23rd August.
