Graphic Story Telling Masterclass with Dan Berry

Join graphic artist and educator Dan Berry for an evening masterclass exploring the fundamentals of graphic storytelling. Drawing on his experience as a comics creator and collaborator on graphic novels including The Three Rooms in Valerie’s Head and Rivers, Dan will share practical insights into how stories work on the page.

The session will explore pacing, visual storytelling, page composition and how images and words work together in comics. Suitable for illustrators, comic makers and anyone interested in telling stories visually.

Participants will have the opportunity to take part in drawing exercises and ask questions about Dan’s creative process. A notebook, pen and a drink on arrival are included in the ticket price.
