A Week-Long Artist Residency by Josephine.b.design
From 2–8 August, illustrator and printmaker Josephine.b.design will be in residence at Swan Hill Studios, Shrewsbury, transforming the space into a working studio, exhibition and pop-up shop.
Open daily from 12–4pm, visitors are invited to experience the creative process, view original lino and Risograph prints, purchase original artwork and artist-designed gifts, and see new work develop throughout the week.
During the residency, Josephine will be creating Ci Vediamo - a new body of work inspired by the twelve years she spent living in Rome. Rather than celebrating familiar postcard views, the project explores language, friendship, belonging and the hidden corners of the city that shaped her. Through contemporary printmaking and illustration, Ci Vediamo offers an intimate reflection on memory, identity and the lasting influence of Italian culture.
The residency culminates in an informal preview of Ci Vediamo on Friday 7 August, 5–7pm. Visitors are…
