Swan Hill Studios is proud to present This House is Hers, the debut solo exhibition by Shrewsbury-based artist Megan Ward.
Working from her studio at English Bridge Studios, Megan has been quietly building a practice rooted in observation, emotion, and the rhythms of domestic life. A lifelong maker, she has explored a wide range of mediums from a young age, gaining early recognition when selected to exhibit at The Mall Galleries in London during her college years.
After leaving a career in finance, Megan has fully embraced life as an artist, working primarily in graphite, watercolour, and oils. Her recent work explores the intersection of creativity and mental health, an interest deepened by her studies in Children and Young People’s Mental Health. Her latest series considers how light can influence emotional well-being — a quiet, contemplative thread…
